The Dancing with your Pendleton Stars event has been canceled, but Crow’s Shadow fundraising Star, Cyd Cimmiyotti and her sister Shannon Cimmiyotti Collins raised an astounding $21,000 for the organization. Tapping into their deep network of friends, the sisters helped spread the word about the mission of Crow’s Shadow to provide a creative conduit for educational, social, and economic opportunities for Native Americans through artistic development.
Cyd Cimmiyotti will be dancing for Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts at the 2020 edition of Dancing with Your Pendleton Stars on April 17 at the Vert Auditorium. Now in its sixth year, this popular fundraiser is based on the Dancing with the Stars TV Show—where a local “star” is chosen to get partnered with a professional ballroom dancer for a dance competition. Each local celebrity picks a charity to fundraise for, with donations heading to their respective non-profit organizations. The event is hosted by CAPECO who organizes the event and receives ticket monies. The winner is determined by the dancers’ fundraising total ($1 = 1 vote), their dance score, audience votes, and judging on the night of the event.
Meet Cyd Cimmiyotti, who will be dancing to benefit Crow’s Shadow at the 2020 Dancing with Your Pendleton Stars! 10% of proceeds on March 10th at Cimmiyotti’s Restaurant will go towards helping Cyd and Crow’s Shadow. Join us for a wonderful evening!
MONOTHON 2019 will culminate in a gala celebration with an art auction of the prints created during the Monothon Invitational Printing Week. This event will be an extraordinary evening of art, wine, and food, all in support of Crow’s Shadow’s ongoing programming and projects. The gala will be hosted at the beautiful Foundry Vineyards Gallery in Walla Walla, WA. Please join us for this special benefit for Crow’s Shadow!
