Sara Siestreem (Hanis-Coos and American)  was one of three Golden Spot Award winners in 2013 who had an artist residency at Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts. While in residency, Sara created a body of work titled: COLLECTIONS (how is your heart?). In her work she created metaphoric indicators about contemporary culture, using significant traditional and contemporary objects, color symbology, and mark making through printed assemblages.

The residency, funded by the Ford Family Foundation, took place in June/July 2013.
